Introduction

This is our first try at blogging. I guess you are never too old to learn. It's good we have children that encourage us to keep learning!

We are Ky and Barb. Hopefully only those I know and love will have access to this site. I'm not quite as trusting as some. BUT, if I can have a memory book at the end of the year completed, it will be worth it.

Obviously I have many memories with you. One of my favorites is playing card games together whenever possible. I also loved the trip just the two of us took to Mesa a couple of years ago. Thanks for being my mom!!!

It sure is fun to see your pictures. I'm glad we had good days while we visted you, it must have been that wonderful bed we got to use while we were there ;-)

One memory that comes to mind is sitting on the back porch at 1019 at a family gathering with a number of cousins and some of the adults, and hearing something about our 'favorite Aunt Barb' in such a way that just made me beam with pride about my 'favorite Aunt Barb' who has such a fun smile and twinkle in her eye. In the same breath, it seemed so natural to think about my 'favorite Aunt RoseAnn', 'favorite Aunt Heather', etc. that it kind of startled me when someone made sure to verbalize that it wasn't one aunt being favorite over another. I am very grateful to have grown up in a family where we could be proud to be related to each other, all of us together.

Love your office space. As Winnie the Pooh wisely said, "No one can be un-cheered with a balloon." Have a great trip!

I also loved your office space...what a great thinking spot!

Just seeing the pictures of you all on red rocks brings back fun memories of hikes together, Superstition and there too! We sure love our 'favorite Aunt Barb and Uncle Ky!' Thanks for blogging to make it easier to keep in touch!
